April 12th: UW was absolutely gorgeous on this day. Probably the only real spring day I’ve seen thusfar as everything since has either been full-on summer heat or traditional Seattle rain + overcast.
April 10th: Part of an ongoing series over the next month or two of where I decide to hang out in the hour of downtime before my Shakespeare class starts. Up first, Suzzallo Library, where I killed time all the time during my first quarter at UW. Very chill place with the best decoration ever, as pictured here.
April 8th: I HAVEN’T FORGOTTEN YOU, PHOTO BLOG THING. I’ve just gotten lazy, and I’ve missed two days so there will be double-updates in the future. This was the expo hall floor at SakuraCon. I bought nothing.

April 6th: Instead of spending a lot of time at SakuraCon I decided to wander about Seattle, and ended up in the Seattle Center area. The 7/11 right next to the Seattle Center turned into a Kwik-E-Mart years ago as a promotion for The Simpsons Movie, and I guess whoever owned it decided that this part of the decorations was too awesome to take down once that finished, so it’s been there ever since. You rock, 7/11 by Seattle Center.
April 5th: 12pm on the day before SakuraCon and already the cosplayers have popped up.
April 4th: Another costume piece, this time getting everything together for SakuraCon ‘12.
April 2nd: Okay, it’s a week later and I’m not sure why I took this one. Yay, I bought a hat?
April 1st: Finally got the picture of the outskirts of Renton I’ve been wanting to take in order to contrast with the photo of how awesome downtown Renton is. But I guess it’s the tradeoff; keep the chains on the outskirts for convenience’s sake in order to preserve the old-timey charm of downtown.
