March 5th: Threw my ECCC costume on again so my aunt could take photos. During downtime, cell-phone self pictures. I was going to throw in a good Penguin quote but he doesn’t really have any iconic ones. I guess imagine the squawking laugh.
March 3rd: But then, amazingly, Gumby got topped on day 3. Because the Gumby costume was awesome and very very impressive in terms of how it was made. But cosplaying Sgt. Slaughter? That is fucking brilliant *and* a great costume idea that isn’t super-expensive. Well done, sir.

March 2nd: R2, though, was completely topped by the presence of Gumby on day two. Gumby!
April 5th: 12pm on the day before SakuraCon and already the cosplayers have popped up.
March 11st: Started the pre-con season tradition of going to a million second-hand stores in earnest today, and then failed to take a photo of a single one. Instead, a picture of the main thing I bought for a possible costume, which will hopefully be built upon in subsequent weeks.
